Are there opportunities
You bet! Becoming a PCA is often the first step in becoming a part of the dynamic and growing senior care industry. PCAs often obtain Certified Nurse Assistant credentials, as well as licensure as a Medication Technician.
Many of Deerfield Ridge’s PCAs have gone on to pursue additional education and training to become Registered Nurses and Physician Assistants, as well as being promoted to other departmental leadership positions throughout Deerfield Ridge and beyond.

We'll schedule an interview to get to know each other and learn more about your interests in caring for seniors.
If hired, you'll go through a thorough 4-day orientation at the community for which you'll be working.
Within 6 months, you'll be scheduled to receive 80 hours of training from an accredited Personal Care Assistant training course - and we'll foot the bill!
You'll receive Licensed Health Professional Support training.
