Assisted Living Wellness Director – RN Full-time

Ridge Care, a local, NC-based provider of senior living options, is seeking a Assisted Living Wellness Director/RN for our Pawleys Island Assisted Living community located in Pawleys Island, NC. The Assisted Living Wellness Director oversees the Resident Care Team Members in ensuring quality resident care is provided with dignity and grace.

Duties & Responsibilities

Resident Services

• Oversee Med Techs and CNA’s in providing quality care and meeting the needs of residents in accordance with Ridge Care policies and regulatory standards.
• Establish and maintain good relationships and frequent positive communication with residents, their families, physicians, and vendors.
• Coordinate resident experience with other department managers.
• Provide in-service educational opportunities for your team members.
• Responsible for incident report tracking and intervention implementation.

• Professional disposition and desire to work with the elderly.
• Five years’ experience in assisted living or skilled nursing management.
• Five years supervisory or management experience.
• Computer proficient with in-depth experience in Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Maintain a good driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• RN License Unrestricted.
• CPR certification.
• Superior time management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to appropriately respond to in-person, e-mailed or written concerns or requests.
• This position requires your ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, special events and holidays.
• Some on-call required.
