Ridge Care Senior Living is led by experienced senior living professionals who fully embrace the concept that the work that takes place in our communities is far more important than the work that happens at the home office.
So, our home office leadership team casts a compelling vision of what our communities should become, works to remove organizational barriers that prevent that vision from becoming a reality, and then gets out of the way and lets our caregivers do what they do best: provide great care.
After all, if our team members are too busy working for us, they won’t have time to work for your loved one.
Jeff Dickerson
Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Dickerson is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ridge Care, Inc. operating retirement and assisted living communities located in North Carolina. Ridge Care, which was co-founded by Jeff in 1997, currently operates 3 communities with over 200 employees. Jeff resides in Kernersville, North Carolina, the headquarters of Ridge Care, Inc. He has a B.S. degree in Healthcare Management from Virginia Commonwealth University and over 25 years of experience in multi-family housing to include nursing home, assisted living and retirement living communities. He is an active member of the American Senior Housing Association Board of Directors and supports local agencies pertaining to senior healthcare.
Sam Hooker
Co-founder & Executive VP
Sam Hooker is co-founder and Executive Vice President of Ridge Care, Inc. Since the formation of the company in 1997, Sam has been instrumental in the ongoing growth and expansion of what has become a regional senior housing provider. Through his efforts, Ridge Care, Inc. continues to grow through new projects and acquisitions. Sam has worked in the senior healthcare industry since 1992, holding various positions in skilled nursing and assisted living. Graduating from High Point University in 1990, Sam has a B.A. degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration and Economics. He is an active board member with several community and area organizations.
