Mallard Ridge releases 2nd community cookbook
It may not make the New York Times best sellers list — but it sure ought to make it to your bookshelf!
Mallard Ridge Assisted Living in Clemmons recently released their second community cookbook, “Still Living High on the Hog: A Second Helping,” the thrilling sequel to “Living High on the Hog: Treasured Family Recipes.”
Awaiting the eager foodie are recipes for such delicious dishes as “Angels on Horseback” (a bacon-wrapped oyster dish) and “Bubble and Squeak” (a cabbage-stuffed potato delight). And the best part is, all the recipes have come from Mallard Ridge residents, resident families, and staff. A true community culinary collaboration!
