Deerfield Ridge hosted their first Community Carnival
Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living hosted their first community carnival on Saturday June 8, 2013. A large bouncy house, inflatable slide, and mechanical bull ride filled the front parking lot while additional games and carnival foods could be found in the back yard. Over 150 community members attended the first community carnival. There was something for everyone, from corndogs to cotton candy, archery to music in the yard.
Many families arrived at the carnival asking the cost of the event and were wonderfully surprised and delighted to hear it was all provided free of charge. Deerfield Ridge staff are excited to start the planning for next year’s community carnival. Feel free to call Deerfield Ridge at 828-264-0336 for information about how to help with next year’s carnival or additional information about Deerfield Ridge.
